Summary
Four Mile Historic Park is seeking a Development Associate to join its tight-knit team. In this role supporting the CEO, the Development Associate will use expert communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, and manage fundraising campaigns. By coordinating events, writing proposals, and recruiting and managing sponsors, the Development Associate will hone speaking, writing, and leadership abilities.

Four Mile Historic Park is a portal to Denver’s Western heritage, with historically accurate replicas, a working farm with horses, goats, chickens, and pigs, and the site of Denver’s oldest standing structure, the Four Mile House Museum. Today, the Park offers a variety of education programs, tours of the historic Four Mile House, and signature events.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Development Associate reports to the CEO and will provide development support for all Four Mile initiatives. A flexible schedule is a must, with the ability to work nights and weekends.

$55,000-$65,000/yr salary depending on experience. Unlimited PTO, Health and Dental Benefits, 401k after 1 year of employment. This role is full-time with 32-40 hours per week with average daily hours from 9:30 am-4:30 pm. Evening and weekend work is required and the schedule is based on the needs of the Park.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to reach with their hands and arms for extended periods.
Most work will occur in an office setting, but the applicant should be able to work outdoors as needed for special events
