General Admission

Admission Pricing:

  • Adults (18–64): $8.00
  • Seniors (65+) & Military: $7.00
  • Youth (7–17): $6.00
  • 6 & Under: FREE
  • Four Mile Historic Park Members: FREE

Parking: 

Parking is available in our partially paved, partially dirt parking lot. When signage permits, parking is available to our guests to parallel park along the south side of E. Exposition Ave.

Monthly Free Days

Travel back to 1859…for free! General admission is free on the Fourth Friday of each month, courtesy of the support provided by your Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

Our monthly Free Days are especially convenient for group visits! Organizations bringing groups into the Park can do so on our Free Days with no need to give us advanced notice. Please note that tours of the historic house are limited to ~10 people due to space restrictions, and tours typically run on the half hour. Please plan accordingly, and contact us for additional information.

Please note:

Applies to general admission only – please check our website to make sure we are open for general admission when you plan to visit. These programs do not provide discounts for special events. Please do not purchase tickets online – free admission will be provided at the front desk upon arrival.


 

Included with admission to Four Mile Historic Park

  • Tour of the Four Mile House Museum (available 11am – 3pm, last tour starts at 2:30)
  • Try your hand at gold-panning! (indoors in the Gate House during the Winter)
  • See our historic reproduction buildings & barns, Native American Tipi, and miner and trapper cabin
  • Monthly activities for the whole family!

Groups

For groups of 10–25, a tour of the Four Mile House Museum with Q&A will be given by a knowledgeable docent, followed by a self-guided tour of the grounds. Group Tours are only available by appointment. Please note: Group Tours and rates are only honored if you have reserved your tour a minimum of two-weeks in advance. A deposit may be required to hold the space and will only be refunded if cancellation occurs no less than seven days prior to the scheduled tour. Four Mile Historic Park is a great resource for educators and students when learning about Colorado’s rich history. Whether it is through a field trip experience or Traveling Trunk in your classroom, our 12-acre Park, historic house museum and special programming complement the subjects for cultural history, natural history and more! All programs are designed to meet select Colorado Academic Standards.
